“Cami” is a visual research about the mends, the quick fixes and the modifications made on some of the trucks used for open-air market.

Some details can tell a lot about the owner, the current business, the previous business, the age of the vehicle. Just like the aspect of the skin can reveal a lot about the person who is wearing it.

My interest focuses on the gesture of mending the wounds of hard work and time (or on the decision to leave those wounds open), giving to the actions that transformed the vehicles the same value as if those were artistic actions on a canvas.
